Graphical bug - Texture / Lighting issue

Post by TSEHellion » 18 February 2017, 22:51

I'm having an issue that has appeared in the betapatch. A Graphics issue where lighting/shadows/textures don't display correctly. The issue seems to be centered in one of the players in multiplayer.

I'm playing on an ASUS laptop model GL752VW with the following specifications:
-Intel Core i7-6700HQ CPU, 2.60GHz
-RAM: 8Gt
-Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
-NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960M

Otherwise the betapatch has made great improvements in the loading times and performance.

Hello,

Thank you for your report.
This is the first time I see something like that. O.O
We once had a bug similar to this where the orientation a player was changing the graphics of the scene for another but it was a long time ago during the development of the game.

Do you have any more information that you think could help us?
Do you know the Pc config of the player Inquisitor Vawn? Did he have the same problem on his side?

I'll notify the devs about it.

I also had this problem ONCE when I loaded up the singleplayer tutorial after installing the betapatch, so its not exclusively a multiplayer problem. Tutorial has worked fine since that one time though. I'll be updating my drivers to see if that will deal with the issue.

Inquisitor Vawn was actually monitoring this thread. Here's the information:

Intel Core i5-4590 CPU 3.30GHz
RAM: 8GB
Microsoft Windows 10 Home 64-bit
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760

We were not sharing the same problem, but Inquisitor Vawn had slow texture pop when first loading in to a level. No other graphical issues once the level had loaded.
