Can we switch to third person mode? I hate first person shooter games.

By being a third person shooter, it prohibits the user from totally enjoying the awe-inspiring environment. It's best, when the user can see his character completely. That would be a shame if we can't change from first to third person, when playing the game. I may not get it if it is a first person shooter only.

It will be a FPS first.
They are open to a modding community, especially when that was the designer studio's roots.
Even then, Unreal is usually very easy to mod for.
So, while the initial experience is first, I'm sure someone will make it third.

That all being said, I'm the opposite. I don't like third person, IMO.
It usually makes the game very cover based and even allows you to cheat peek around corners.
This being a somewhat intensive horror game keeps the atmosphere intact via FPS.

Fine. Don't rush a good thing. Make this one worth waiting for, unlike every other single WH40K release so far.

I anticipate this game more than any other.
Amen, brother.

Thanks, for the feedback, I may still get it anyway, just as long as it stays true to the Warhammer 40,000 Universe. I just prefer third person.

Definitely be leery of the man who holds out a Plasma Cannon with one arm full stretch.

However I think for a situation I'm using one, I'd rather be wearing a helmet. But then again I'm often pretty partial to wearing a helmet.
